A tinnitis sound is usually produced as a result of some hearing problems. In the case of a temporary hearing loss due to an impacted earwax, the ear canals are blocked by the presence of an impacted ear wax and makes it impossible for the sound waves to be delivered properly into the brain, hence it produces a ringing in ears.
